Always one of the favourite concerts of the year, the Xmas Eve Concert was held again in the Grand Island Hotel with a packed audience of Band families, friends , supporters and a few hotel guests very pleasantly surprised who also joined in the festive fun.

The Band mixed a variety of traditional Xmas music with plentiful numbers of carols all enthusiastically sung by the merry audience , and naturally we had some of the famous Rob "cracker " jokes which earned the customary derision.Several of the Band entered our "Best Decorated Instrument "competition , Jade, Alfie ,Chris , Ross amongst them , but the winner by a clear mile was a very fetching fairy with a huge decorated bass . Theo , it took courage!
